Who are we?
Engineers Without Borders is a non-governmental humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life. This partnership involves the implementation of sustainable engineering projects, while involving and training internationally responsible engineers and engineering students.
What we do?
Cooperate in partnership with other local NGOs in:
Implementation of sustainable engineering projects;
Interethnic relations and cooperation;
Environmental education and awareness;
Providing comprehensive technical and logistic support;
Promote environmental awareness and sustainable development for our community;
Encourage engineering students, professionals and motivated non-engineers to get involved;
Establishing EWB Chapters in local Colleges;
Promote environmental awareness and sustainable development for our community in areas such as water supply and sanitation, energy, communication, transportation and employment. Encourage engineering students, professionals and motivated non- engineers to get involved with our organization toward project opportunities, in the social, environmental and economic issues of our community.
Improving the quality of life into poor areas and other developing communities in the region through implementation of engineering projects that are economically sustainable and the involvement of student groups into projects.
